Raymond Tsang
Professor Raymond Tsang graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1994 and
received his training in otolaryngology in Prince of Wales Hospital, Chinese University of Hong
Kong. He obtained the Fellowship of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2001 and then
subspecilized in head and neck surgery.
Before relocating to Singapore, Professor Tsang was Clinical Associate Professor in the Department
of Surgery, University of Hong Kong. In April 2022, Professor Tsang took up his current position as
Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery in the National
University of Singapore.
Professor Tsang’s clinical research interests include application of robotic surgery in head and neck
surgery, minimally invasive surgery in the head and neck region, endoscopic surgery for anterior
skull base lesions and swallowing disorders in patients after head and neck cancer treatment.
Professor Tsang was part of the team that performed the first clinical trial of the next generation of
flexible robot for application in transoral head and neck surgery in 2017.
Professor Tsang has published more than 100 peer review papers and book chapters. He had
been the President of the Hong Kong Society of Otorhinolarynology – Head and Neck Surgery,
the President of the Hong Kong Head and Neck Society and the Chairman of the Head and Neck
Subspecialty Board of the Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngologists.

Martin Wagenmann
Professor Martin Wagenmann is Head of Rhinology, Allergy, and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery,
Head of the Scientific Laboratory in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, and Vice Chair of the
Interdisciplinary University Allergy Center at University Hospital of Düsseldorf.
Professor Wagenmann obtained his medical degree from Ruprecht Karl University of Heidelberg in
1990 and a doctoral degree from the University Heidelberg-Mannheim in 1991. Following a post-
doctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins Asthma & Allergy Center in 1992, he completed his residency
in otorhinolaryngology at University Hospital of Düsseldorf in 1997, achieving board certification
as an ENT specialist. He subsequently gained additional certifications in allergy in 2002 and plastic
surgery in 2005. He also completed his habilitation in 2003.
Professor Wagenmann's main scientific expertise encompasses clinical and immunological aspects
of allergic rhinitis and chronic rhinosinusitis, allergen immunotherapy, and mechanisms of head
and neck cancer. He has been involved in over 20 phase II, III, and IV clinical studies as principal
investigator, investigator, or sub-investigator since 1990. He has authored 194 scientific publications
in peer-reviewed journals (sum of impact factor: 782.2; h-index: 57), contributed to 7 book
chapters, and delivered more than 500 scientific lectures at regional and international meetings. He
has coordinated and co-authored several national and international clinical guidelines and serves on
the editorial boards of multiple scientific journals.
Professor Wagenmann is Vice-President of the German Society of Allergology and Clinical
Immunology (DGAKI). He is also an active member of the German Society of Oto-Rhino-
Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology
(EAACI), the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI), the European
Rhinologic Society, and the German Society of Skull Base Surgery.
