Steve Wai-Hee Chan Peter Ka-Fung Chiu
Dr. Steve Wai-Hee Chan graduated from The University of Hong Kong in 1992 and Dr. Peter Ka-Fung Chiu is Associate Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong,

grants. He has published more than 215 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals such as
European Urology, European Urology Oncology, Journal of Urology, BJU International, and
Prostate Cancer and Prostatic Diseases.
Dr. Chiu is a pioneer in the development of new robotic and therapeutic devices. He is
principal investigator of the first-in-human trial of the Agilis Intilume system, an endoscopic
robotic system with two flexible arms for transurethral bladder surgery, since 2024. He
has also participated in first-in-human trials of the Da Vinci SP system (2017), Targeted
Microwave Ablation (2019), Cornerstone Robotics (2022), and Prostate Histotripsy (2026).
