Athena Wong Eddy Wong
Dr. Athena Wong obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from Dr. Eddy Wong is Chief of Service and Consultant at the Department of Ear, Nose and Throat at
The University of Hong Kong and completed her specialist training in otorhinolaryngology at Prince of Wales Hospital and Clinical Associate Professor (honorary) at The Chinese University
Tuen Mun Hospital. She has broad clinical experience across the full spectrum of ENT care, of Hong Kong. Dr. Wong is also President of the Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngologists,
complemented by post-fellowship training in facial plastic surgery under the Hong Kong College of overseeing specialist training and professional examinations. His clinical practice focuses on head
Otorhinolaryngologists. She is also experienced in rhinology and skull base surgery. and neck oncology surgery, with a particular interest in robotic and endoscopic surgical approaches
for head and neck diseases.
Dr. Wong has now joined private practice at Hong Kong Medical Consultants. She remains actively
engaged in professional education, serving on the Facial Plastic Surgery Board of the Hong Kong Dr. Wong graduated from the Medical Faculty of CUHK and completed his ENT specialist training
College of Otorhinolaryngologists, and holds an appointment as Honorary Clinical Assistant in United Christian Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong. He further pursued
Professor at Department of Surgery of The University of Hong Kong. subspecialty training in head and neck oncology through cross-region clinical attachments, including
at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, USA.
Dr. Wong was the Chief Editor of the Head and Neck Dissection and Reconstruction Manual which
was published by the CUHK Press in 2015 and made freely available online to support surgeons in
developing countries.
